How to Use a Free AI Chat in Urdu and English
A simple guide to asking an AI assistant questions in Urdu, Roman Urdu or English — with example prompts for study, work and daily life.

Most AI chat tools were designed for English speakers first. That is a problem for millions of people in Pakistan and the UAE who think, study and work in Urdu — or switch between Urdu and English in the same sentence. The good news is that modern AI models understand Urdu well, including Roman Urdu written with English letters. This guide shows you how to get clear, useful answers in the language you are most comfortable with.
1. Start with the language you think in
You do not need to translate your question into English first. Type exactly how you would speak to a friend. For example: “Photosynthesis ko simple Urdu me samjhao” or “Mujhe ek job application email likh do, English me.” The AI picks up the language from your question and replies in the same style unless you ask otherwise.
2. Tell the AI which language you want back
If you ask in Roman Urdu but want the answer in Urdu script, or the other way round, say so at the end of your message. Clear instructions save time:
- “Jawab Urdu script me do.” — reply in Urdu script
- “Answer in simple English, then summarise in Roman Urdu.” — two languages in one reply
- “Explain like I am in class 8.” — simpler words and shorter sentences
3. Give context for better answers
AI gives better answers when it knows who you are and what you need. Mention your level, your goal and any limits. “I am a FSc student, explain Newton’s second law with one daily-life example” works much better than just “Newton’s law.”
4. Useful prompts to try today
- “Meri CV ke liye 3 strong bullet points likho — I work as a cashier in Dubai.”
- “Is paragraph ki grammar theek karo aur professional bana do.”
- “Matric chemistry ke chapter 3 ke 10 important questions banao.”
- “Translate this WhatsApp message to polite Arabic for my landlord.”
- “Ramadan ke liye ek simple weekly meal plan banao, budget 300 AED.”
Tip: if an answer is too long, reply with “short me batao” (keep it short). If it is too hard, reply “aur asaan karo” (make it simpler). You can keep refining in the same chat.
5. Check important facts
AI is a great helper, but it can make mistakes. For exam answers, legal matters, visas, medicine or money, double-check with your textbook, teacher or an official source. Use AI to understand and draft, then verify before you rely on it.
